Mid-level Design Architect (Contract)

💼 Employment Type: Contract (2–3 Months)
đź’° Rate: ~$55 per hour + Superannuation
Want a contract role where you’re actually shaping projects? This is a rare chance to jump into the front end of major healthcare work with a nationally recognised architecture practice, helping turn early concepts into real, submission-ready projects that will get built.
You’ll be embedded in a fast-moving design team delivering complex social infrastructure projects, working closely with senior architects to develop concepts and produce Development Application (DA) packages. If you’re strong in Revit, confident under deadlines, and ready to contribute from day one, this is a high-impact short-term move that will seriously strengthen your portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Supporting design development on complex healthcare projects
• Producing high-quality Development Application (DA) documentation
• Revit modelling, coordination and drawing production
• Translating early concepts into clear, submission-ready packages
• Collaborating with senior architects, designers and consultants
• Contributing to a fast-paced front-end delivery team
What You’ll Need
🎓 Tertiary qualification in Architecture
🖥️ Strong Revit skills are essential
đź“‘ Proven experience producing DA documentation
🏥 Healthcare or complex project experience highly regarded
đź“Ť Approximately 4+ years local experience preferred
⚙️ Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
đź’¬ Strong communication and coordination skills
