A well-established national Quantity Surveying consultancy is seeking a Financier Quantity Surveyor to join its Brisbane office.

With a strong reputation for providing independent advice to banks, financiers and institutional investors, the business continues to grow its specialist advisory team. Working across residential, commercial, mixed-use and healthcare developments, you'll provide trusted commercial advice that helps clients make informed funding decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Role Overview

This role is suited to a Quantity Surveyor with 3+ years' consultancy experience who is looking to move into, or further develop, a career within financier services.

Working alongside an experienced team, you'll undertake due diligence assessments, monitor project progress, review project costs and provide independent reporting to lenders and funding institutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the analytical and advisory side of Quantity Surveying while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare initial due diligence reports for funding institutions
• Monitor project progress and certify drawdown claims
• Review project budgets, programmes and construction contracts
• Assess cost to complete and identify commercial risks
• Prepare monthly progress reports for financiers and lenders
• Review variations, contingencies and project cash flow forecasts
• Liaise with developers, contractors, consultants and financial institutions
• Provide independent commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle

Skills & Experience

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• 3+ years' Quantity Surveying experience within a consultancy environment
• Experience across residential, commercial and/or healthcare projects
• Strong understanding of construction costs, contracts and procurement
• Excellent analytical and report writing skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• AIQS membership or working towards accreditation is highly regarded
