BIM Leader

Join an award-winning, integrated architecture and interior design practice who extend in areas across Health, Education, Mixed-Use and Commercial projects.

With offices in almost every city in Australia, my client has a growing team of talented Architects who drive design right through to delivery stages.

At present, due to expanding the team and a strong solid pipeline of work, they are now looking for a BIM Champion or BIM Leader who can lead and guide Architects across specific projects within the company. This role has a great level of importance and you will be required to Lead the BIM process across some of the companies complex projects. The role will require someone with good leadership skills who is excellent at coordinating with the Architects and ensuring the BIM process is meeting the requirements for the projects at hand. Someone who has BIM Coordination skills or has a 2IC role beside a BIM Manager would be ideal.

Required attributes:

  • B.Arch or M.Arch with 8-10+ years local experience within BIM
  • BIM Coordination in Revit is essential
  • Able to manage the Revit Model
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ambition, good attitude and a team player
  • Expert level in Revit
  • This incorporates both the digital asset and the upskilling / training project team members knowledge of BIM Standards.
  • High level model coordination, project management, BIM model standard development, implementation, evaluate BIM workflows, BIM implementation and execution of the development of BIM process workflows and content .
  • Assist with trouble shooting and model management
  • Educate the team to embrace data centric information rich work flows
  • Assist your project teams alongside the BIM Team with tailoring Project BIM briefs and management plans.
  • Advise Project Leaders on contractual engagements in relation to BIM Management requirements.
  • Continue to monitor industry trends and initiate support for best practice BIM office processes to evolve our digital design and delivery platform.
