Senior Interior Designer (Workplace)

Take the lead on commercial interior projects, managing design, client relationships and delivery from initial briefing through to completion.

This is an opportunity to join a boutique Surry Hills design practice working across commercial workplace, office fit-outs, refurbishments, education and hospitality projects. The studio has an established client base, including major Australian organisations, with a portfolio of award-recognised workplace interiors.

The role involves leading design development, space planning, material and furniture selections, consultant coordination and technical documentation. Revit is an important part of the studio's workflow, with responsibility for overseeing drawing packages, resolving technical issues and maintaining design quality throughout delivery.

Working within a smaller team means direct involvement across all project stages, regular contact with clients and the opportunity to guide developing designers. There is considerable autonomy in managing projects, with experienced studio directors available for support when needed.

What the role requires:

  • Extensive commercial interior design experience, including independently managing projects from design through construction.

  • Advanced Revit skills with experience producing and overseeing detailed documentation packages.

  • Experience managing client relationships, consultant coordination and construction-stage delivery.
