Senior Architectural Technician (Health)

Sydney, NSW · Architecture/Engineering

📍 Sydney CBD
💰 $110,000 – $120,000 + Super

A leading global architecture and design practice is looking for a Senior Architectural Technician to join its Sydney health team.

This is a strong opportunity for a technically focused professional who wants to work on complex healthcare projects that genuinely shape the way people experience care.

You’ll be joining a large multidisciplinary studio with the systems, resources and project pipeline to support major health work, while still being part of a collaborative local team based in Sydney CBD.

The practice has a strong reputation across health, science, workplace, infrastructure and civic projects, with a focus on human-centred design, evidence-based planning and technically robust delivery. Their health projects are shaped around patients, families, clinicians and staff, with careful attention to workflow, functionality and long-term operational performance.

What’s in it for you

You’ll work on major health and public-sector projects where technical quality, coordination and buildability matter.

The studio offers the structure and resources of a global practice, including established BIM systems, strong Revit workflows and access to specialist expertise across architecture, engineering, sustainability and health planning.

Based in Martin Place, you’ll work closely with a collaborative Sydney team on complex, meaningful projects with long-term career development available.

The Role

This role is suited to a Senior Architectural Technician with strong Revit skills and proven experience producing documentation on large or technically complex projects.

You’ll support health projects across documentation, coordination and construction stages, working closely with Project Architects, health planners, BIM leads, consultants and wider project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce Revit documentation across design development, tender and construction stages
• Prepare drawing packages, schedules and technical documentation
• Coordinate architectural documentation with structural, services, fire, façade and specialist consultants
• Assist with technical resolution across health and clinical spaces
• Review consultant information and identify coordination issues
• Support model management, drawing set consistency and quality control
• Assist with RFIs, documentation queries and construction-stage requirements
• Apply NCC, Australian Standards and relevant health design requirements

You’ll bring:

• Relevant architectural, drafting or technical qualification
• Strong Revit documentation capability
• Australian project documentation experience
• Health, science, education, defence, civic or public-sector project exposure
• Working knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and construction documentation
• Clear communication and strong attention to detail

Why This Role Stands Out

This is a role for someone who wants to be valued for their technical strength.
You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering health projects where documentation accuracy and buildability have a direct impact on project success.

The work is complex, meaningful and highly collaborative, with exposure to clinical planning, services-heavy environments and large consultant teams.
