An established design-led architecture practice is seeking a Project Leader to join their Sydney studio.

The practice is recognised for delivering well-considered Class 2 projects, with a strong emphasis on front-end design, planning strategy and project leadership. Their work spans large-scale residential developments, with teams involved from early concept design through to DA submission.

Operating within a collaborative studio structure, the practice offers strong project exposure and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership across key project stages.

Role Overview

This role is suited to a NSW Registered Architect with 8+ years’ post-graduate experience and strong front-end project capability.

You’ll be leading projects from concept through to DA, guiding teams through planning, design development and consultant coordination while maintaining project vision and programme outcomes.

The role requires someone confident in early-stage design leadership, stakeholder management and navigating planning frameworks across Class 2 developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Class 2 projects from concept through to DA
• Coordinate consultants, planning requirements and project teams
• Manage design development and project direction
• Contribute to client presentations and stakeholder engagement
• Support programme management and project delivery outcomes
• Mentor and guide junior team members

Skills & Experience

• NSW Registered Architect
• 8+ years’ post-graduate experience
• Strong experience across Class 2 projects
• Proven capability from concept through to DA
• Proficiency in Revit
• Strong communication, leadership and coordination skills
