ArchiCAD Project Architect
Wollongong, NSW · Architecture/EngineeringThis opportunity is suited to a Project Architect who is comfortable taking ownership of large-scale Class 2 residential projects, coordinating consultants, and driving documentation and delivery outcomes within a developer-led environment.
You’ll be working on multi-residential projects typically ranging from 100-200 apartments, with genuine exposure to design development, construction documentation, and construction-phase involvement. The role offers real autonomy, practical responsibility, and the chance to influence how projects are resolved and built.
Based in Wollongong on the NSW South Coast, this position offers a balance of meaningful project responsibility and lifestyle, with two days per week working from home and a stable pipeline of residential work.
What’s on offer
• Salary of $110,000–$120,000 plus superannuation

What you’ll do
• Deliver Class 2 multi-residential projects through design development, CC and construction
• Produce and manage coordinated ArchiCAD documentation
• Coordinate consultants and manage approvals requirements
• Respond to RFIs and support construction delivery
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues
• Support junior staff and contribute to efficient project delivery
What you’ll bring
• Experience delivering Class 2 residential projects in Australia
• Strong ArchiCAD capability
• Sound knowledge of NCC, BCA, ADG and residential construction
• Confidence coordinating consultants and technical documentation
• Clear communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Full working rights in Australia
Architectural registration is welcome but not essential.
