Contract Interior Designer

Join a leading Sydney interior design studio recognised for delivering refined, people-centred workplace environments. With a passionate team of professionals, this practice is known for its collaborative approach, end-to-end project delivery, and strong client partnerships across the commercial and corporate sectors.

This is a 3–6-month contract opportunity (with genuine potential to transition into a permanent role) for an experienced Interior Designer who is confident working through all project stages from concept to documentation and delivery.

You’ll work within a talented and supportive team on high-profile commercial interiors, bringing your Revit skills, design acumen, and coordination experience to deliver exceptional spaces that enhance how people work and connect.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to concept design, planning, and documentation for workplace and commercial interiors

  • Translate design concepts into Revit documentation with accuracy and clarity

  • Manage consultant coordination and contribute to client presentations and design reviews

  • Support delivery of projects through design development, documentation, and construction stages

  • Collaborate closely with design leads, project managers, and clients to ensure quality and intent are maintained

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–8 years’ experience in commercial or workplace interior design

  • Proven end-to-end project experience from concept through construction

  • Strong proficiency in Revit (essential)

  • Solid understanding of documentation standards, detailing, and coordination

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive, adaptable mindset

  • Eligible to work in Australia (citizenship or permanent residency preferred)
