Graduate Architect - ArchiCAD

Sydney, NSW · Architecture/Engineering

Join a design-led studio renowned for award-winning bespoke homes and apartments where architecture is shaped by creativity, context, and sustainability. This is an opportunity to build meaningful experience on Class 1 and 2 projects working across all stages and contributing to architecture that genuinely improves how people live and connect.

You’ll work closely with Project Architects and Associates in a supportive, collaborative studio that values curiosity, craft, and thoughtful design exploration. It’s a place where graduates are trusted with responsibility, encouraged to share ideas, and supported as they grow toward registration.

This role offers hands-on exposure from feasibility and concept design through planning and delivery. With a strong project pipeline and a team invested in mentoring, you’ll continue sharpening your design thinking, technical skills, and professional confidence.

You’ll also enjoy a culture that prioritises wellbeing and long-term growth, with parental leave, professional development support, and a studio environment that feels welcoming, inclusive, and genuinely collaborative. Regular studio catch-ups and social moments help turn colleagues into a close-knit team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll join the team working across Class 1 and Class 2 residential projects, contributing from early design through to documentation and delivery. Reporting to senior team members, you’ll be involved in:

  • Design development and architectural documentation

  • Feasibility studies, concept design, and planning submissions

  • Producing ArchiCAD/Revit models and presentation material

  • Coordinating with consultants and internal teams

  • Participating in design reviews and studio discussions

  • Supporting project delivery while learning best-practice workflows

What you’ll need

  • 3+years post-graduation experience in an architectural practice
  • Masters of Architecture or equivalent
  • Experience on Class 2 and an interest in expanding into Class 1

  • Strong ArchiCAD/Revit and documentation skills

  • Understanding of NSW planning controls, SEPP, ADG, and BCA

  • Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills

  • A proactive mindset and genuine passion for design-led architecture

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency

Who you’ll be joining

The studio is known for creating beautiful, sustainable places shaped by people and purpose, thoughtfully integrating sunlight, water and wind. With a close-knit, collaborative team structure, learning happens organically, ideas are shared openly, mentorship is hands-on, and graduates are encouraged to take ownership as they grow.

You’ll build strong foundations here: technically, creatively, and professionally. It’s a place to sharpen your design thinking, expand your responsibilities, and grow a career  not just tick boxes on a CV.

Perks

  • Work alongside award-winning architects on diverse, high-impact projects

  • Supportive environment for professional development and registration

  • Collaborative, design-led culture in a light-filled Sydney studio

  • Long-term career growth with real responsibility

  • Parental leave and people-first studio values
