Senior Quantity Surveyor

Working from the Melbourne office, you will gain exposure to a broad mix of projects and clients while collaborating with experienced professionals who are committed to developing their people.
 

What You’ll Be Responsible For

You will play a key role in managing the financial performance of projects from early feasibility through to delivery, ensuring clients receive accurate and strategic cost advice.
  • Preparing cost plans, feasibility studies, BOQs, and tender documentation
  • Advising on procurement approaches and contract administration
  • Monitoring budgets and providing financial reporting
  • Supporting value engineering initiatives to optimise project outcomes
  • Leading client interactions and maintaining strong relationships
  • Reviewing work and guiding junior team members
  • Coordinating with consultants and stakeholders throughout delivery
 

Your Background

This opportunity suits a technically capable QS who enjoys both analytical work and client engagement.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Around 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally in Australia
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices and procurement methods
  • Advanced skills in CostX and Excel
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder skills
  • Well organised with the ability to manage several projects at once
  • Working toward or holding AIQS or RICS membership advantageous
