Mid Level Interior Designer

Kappa Executive Search is recruiting on behalf of a leading design studio that blends architectural vision with impactful interior environments. This practice is seeking a talented Mid–Senior Interior Designer to join their dynamic team and take on a key role across an exciting mix of high-profile interior projects.

This opportunity is ideal for a passionate designer looking to step into a collaborative, design-focused environment where they’ll have real ownership across the full project lifecycle from concept design through to documentation and delivery.


The Role

  • Lead the development of innovative interiors across multi-residential, mixed-use, hotel, workplace, hospitality, and public sector projects

  • Translate architectural concepts into rich, human-centric interiors

  • Prepare strong client-facing presentations, visualisations, and finishes boards

  • Engage with consultants, suppliers, and clients to drive outstanding design outcomes

  • Coordinate project documentation using Revit, and contribute through tender and construction phases

  • Ensure design quality through adherence to internal systems and building codes


What You’ll Need

  • 5–7 years of post-graduate experience in interior design

  • Tertiary qualifications in Interior Design or Interior Architecture

  • Confident presenter with proven experience managing client and stakeholder relationships

  • Strong graphic design and concept communication skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape, SketchUp)

  • Advanced Revit proficiency

  • Deep interest in finishes, materials, and supplier networks

  • Experience coordinating design through to tender and delivery

  • A collaborative mindset, critical thinking, and a proactive approach

  • Willingness to work closely with architectural teams to deliver cohesive outcomes
