What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Leading pre- and post-contract cost management services across a portfolio of projects.
✅ Building and maintaining strong client relationships, offering strategic commercial advice.
✅ Overseeing cost plans, estimates, tender reviews, and value engineering exercises.
✅ Managing and mentoring quantity surveyors and cadets to ensure high-quality delivery.
✅ Providing commercial oversight, reporting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
✅ Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to fee proposals.
✅ Representing the firm in client, consultant, and contractor meetings.
✅ Ensuring compliance with internal QA systems and industry standards.

What You’ll Need

🎓 Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
📊 Minimum 10 years’ experience in a consultancy environment delivering cost management services.
🏅 Professional membership with AIQS, RICS, or working toward chartership.
🤝 Proven leadership and client-facing experience with strong commercial acumen.
🏗️ Background in mid- to large-scale building or infrastructure projects in Australia.
💬 Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
